Action: staying up all night

Conciquence: sleeping all day (pissing off fiancee)
Are you kidding me? There are so many people I'd like to punch right in the mouth. I'd be doing the same as you. And I'm not one to start yellin' about Christian ethics.

I have to wake up in 4 hours. So I think I should go to bed as well.

Action: Staying up all night

Consequence: Missing vet appointment for my cat and having him not get neutered.

Well you could get your ass on Yahoo, Echo, we'll experience the end of your life together!

And then I'll sleep all day.

http://www.ibiblio.org/lunarbin/worldpop has a counter.

There's a 1 in 5,560 chance we could get owned by Apophis in 2036 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_MN4. Maybe that's what the Mayans predicted but they were a bit off.
You're right...at least I think you're right, I got my stats mixed up. I think I pulled the three billion from China's population. Edit: Or maybe it was China + India...? I don't remember anymore, been a while since my last geography class. :P

I just HAVE to correct that, becaus I hate it when people say Mayans predicted THE END OF THE WORLD for 2012.
They did NOT.
They calculated the date when our planet will undergo MAJOR changes, including the total flip upsidedown of magnetic poles.
With that, they also claim will begin the age of higher existence, in an enviroment where atoms are much lighter by construct and virbrate much faster , aka 5th dimension.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the end of the world... only a date when the world and everything on it will change into something we've never experienced before.

Apophis will own the earth? At 320 meters long, there wont be much left by the time it passes through the atmoshpere. Unless I read that link wrong, we are in no danger from that rock. There are much larger things out there that could strike the earth and kill us.
Mayans 2012.... Is the beginning of their 6th world, basically the end of an age... not the world... geez.

How boring would that be?
But think about all the other billions of people who died before you. Im sure they would love to hear about your apocalypse story. I can not remember the comedic that had that joke about the apocalypse, but this reminded me of it.

This can easily be interpreted as the end of the world as we know it.

This all sounds like Y2K to me, I really dont think anything major will happen, just like Y2K. And how can magnetic poles just suddenly change?

According to the Bible Code, 2012 is the year we get hit by a meteor and the world ends.

Bible? Uh.. If it's got anything to do with that branch of insanity, it's been changed many, many, many times. Ignore it.

Was there really any point to posting that besides offering flame bait? Not that this thread is being taken seriously, im sure in 2012 everything will be the same. Im sure a few minor differences, but definately not the end.

2012 - 2+0+1+2 = 3. 3 billion peoples in china. In 2012 china will do something crazy. Obviously. Probably civil war or world domination.
